چکیده
Plant viruses classified in the genus Waikavirus , family Secoviridae are positive sense single-stranded RNA that include important pathogens of maize (maize chlorotic dwarf virus; MCDV) and rice (rice tungro spherical RTSV). Many aspects molecular biology waikaviruses remain unexplored because experimental challenges lack infectious clones for low titer, phloem-limited, obligately vector-transmitted waikaviruses. Here we report first development waikavirus two MCDV strains, MCDV-S MCDV-M1, insect-free launching infections from these by vascular puncture inoculation. We further developed a green fluorescent protein (GFP)-tagged clone replacing viral p27-encoding sequence with GFP-encoding sequence. GFP-tagged virus moved systemically plants caused symptomatic infection similar to wild type virus, expression GFP. Development is major advance this group agriculturally significant viruses.

متن کاملTransient expression of green fluorescent protein in radish (Raphanus sativus) using a turnip mosaic virus based vector
It is possible to use transgenic plants, as bioreactors, for the production of recombinant inexpensive chemicals and drug components. Transient gene expression is an appropriate alternative to stable transformation because it allows an inexpensive and rapid method for expression of recombinant proteins in plant tissues. In recent years, plant viral vectors have been increasingly developed as su...

Infectious Pancreatic Necrosis Virus (IPNV) is a member of the family Birnaviridae that has been linked to high mortalities in salmonids. Bacterial based systems as live vectors for the delivery of heterologous antigens offer a number of advantages as vaccination strategies. VP2 is a structural viral protein of IPNV with immunogenicity effects. In this study IPNV was isolated from diseased fry ...

Infectious bursal disease virus (IBDV) is the causative agent of Gumboro disease, an infectious disease of global economic importance in poultry. Structural protein VP2 of IBDV is the most frequently studied protein due to its significant roles in virus attachment, protective immunity, and serotype specificity. The objective of the present study was to improve the expression of hypervariable re...
